Opening Your NCR Retail Online Store to the Public

Before You Go Live

Welcome Emails

NCR Retail Online: System / Transactional Emails

Even though NCR Retail Retail Online has a default Welcome Email set up in the system, you may find you want to change it. To change the default Welcome Email go to System / Transactional Emails. In the top right corner click "Add New Template." In the Template field choose New Account and Load Template. This will load the welcome template for you to make changes. Once your template has been altered, you can click the Preview Template button to make sure the template appears how you want it to. Save the template.

TIP: Once you have saved your new Welcome Email, you will need to go to System / Configuration / Customers / Customer Configuration / Create New Account Options / Welcome Email and change the default email to the one you just created.

Pointing Your Domain Name to Your Store

When you are ready to go live, you may need to change your domain name (e.g., www.nrostores.com) to point to your NCR Retail Online store.

  1. Send proof of your organizational name to NCR. Fax the information to (901)681-2802, or send an email to support.cponline@ncr.com.
  2. After we receive proof, your SSL certificate will be issued (You will be contacted if additional information is needed).
  3. We will send you your new IP address as well as instructions for pointing your domain name to your NCR Retail Online store.
