Credit Card Validation Error Messages In SecurePay

Brief explanation of what the Error Message column on the Failed tab means in SecurePay.

Solution:

What appears in the Error Message column depends on the processor being used by the merchant. Oftentimes the result is simply just an error code of some sort. Just what these error codes correspond to is also up to the processor. The one universal result is that 00 is a confirmation. Anything other than that is a decline for one reason or another. The following is a table with some common response codes and what they mean to most processors. NOTE: If you want to be certain, verify with the processor in question.
